1. Why this matters

The FBC course is digital content to which you get immediate access after payment. Under the law, a consumer's 14-day right of withdrawal for such content only lapses if, before delivery, you expressly consent to immediate performance and also acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Both are requested in advance and confirmed afterwards.

We ask for those two declarations at checkout and repeat them in your confirmation e-mail, so you can always read back what you agreed to.

2. What you declare at checkout

At checkout there are two separate boxes. They are not pre-ticked and both are required, because we offer the course exclusively with immediate access.

I want immediate access. I expressly agree that the course is made available immediately after payment, that is, before the end of the statutory 14-day cooling-off period.
Waiver of the right of withdrawal. I acknowledge that I therefore lose my right of withdrawal as soon as I have been given access to the course.

There is deliberately no variant in which access is postponed. We record your declaration with the order, including the time, the IP address and the version of the text you were shown, so that it is clear afterwards what was ticked.

3. Confirmation in the order or welcome e-mail

In the confirmation e-mail we state explicitly that you waived the right of withdrawal:

At checkout you chose immediate access and declared that you waive your right of withdrawal. You therefore no longer have a 14-day cooling-off period for this purchase. Your purchase details and our Terms and Conditions are set out below.

4. When the right of withdrawal does still apply

For consumers who did not choose immediate access and waiver, insofar as we offer that option: 14 days to withdraw, using the model form below or any other unambiguous statement.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers such as clubs and academies.

5. Model form for withdrawal

Only complete and return this form if you wish to withdraw from the agreement and your right of withdrawal applies.
